Communication Skills
Builds multiple skills, including Effective Listening, Conflict Style Awareness, Effective Speaking, and Cultural Impact in Conflicts. These skills support effective communication between parties, and provide the tools for breaking down stereotypes and promoting cultural understanding.
Group Process
Because how a group works together hugely impacts the productivity and creativity of the group, our workshops are designed to help students build the necessary skills to create group interactions that help—not hinder—performance. This workshop concentrates on how to manage the problems most often confronted during group projects: lack of leadership, disparity in time/effort available for project, differences in work styles and time-management, and assignments that do not reflect the talents and abilities of team-members.
Group Process with Facilitation
This Group Process workshop is engineered for decision-making bodies that have multiple projects, long-term involvement, and/or large numbers of participants. Types of groups that would benefit from a Group Process Workshop that focuses on facilitation might include Board Meetings, Student Governments, and student group Planning Committees.
Specific Needs
Each of our workshops will be tailored to the specific needs and experiences of your organization or community. Most of the skill sets that are taught can be considered a la carte items, and can be combined and resized to fit different time-length availabilities and needs.
